I learn so much all my beliefs were erase. I worried because I started questioning life. Speed of light events fast foward like nothing. Scenes repeated themselves. I started to hear everyones conversations. It is very real and its really scary. It is the worse feeling in the world because its hard to control the brain. I manage to overcome it. 8. One point that might help some people. I have always suffered anxiety but one method I have found to be incredibly effective at eliminating anxiety/fear in the short term is: Extreme physical exertion. In the gym, or out running, or smashing a hammer onto an old brick wall, whatever you are able to physically do, do that activity until you are utterly and completely physically exhausted. I guarantee you will have no energy left to feel anxious. Total physical exhaustion is an absolutely wonderful feeling to anyone who hasn't experienced it. And then you sleep like a baby. Highly recommend it!

  10. It's actually amazing how our mind, what we're believing at a particular moment can actually have chemical effects in our body that are instantaneous. Fair enough that our primitive fear system can produce adrenaline or nor adrenaline etc in response to some stimulus but to think that the simply picture/belief held in our mind at a particular moment can cause the release of chemicals and massively overactive our nervous system is amazing.

  38. I have been suffering from depression for quite a long time. The thing that Mel mentioned about what you need to do when you're starting to have a panic attack all of a sudden. I really do relate to it. There was this one night, my heart started to race really fast. I couldn't stop crying and found myself hardly could breathe. I got out from my bed immediately and went to turn on the light right away, cuz I figured out I had to do something to get myself out of that state. I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to control it because it made me felt like as if I was dying. So I thought I should find someone to talk with me, but since it was 3'o clock in the morning, I couldn't. Then I walked around my house. Eventually I started to calm down for some reason while I was doing that. I am just glad that I was able to manage it. And Thank You Mel, for explaining this in detail, now I could really understand what was happening to me! ❤
