How to Create a Windows 7, 8, 8.1 bootable USB



Rufus is the fastest and easiest way to create a bootable USB drive for installing Windows 7, 8, 8.1.

Start by downloading Rufus from official website : https://rufus.akeo.ie/downloads/

Double-click rufus to start.

Select the USB device to make bootable.

Select File System.

Cluster size, use default.

Enter a volume name.

To create a bootable disk from an ISO file, the ISO button must be clicked.

  1. If I got it right, this should boot windows 7 from the flash drive, right ? Not the installation, right?

  2. is rufus supporting both version X86 and X64 of windows?
