  3. When I look at Silicon labs for the CP210X, I only find a development board CP2102N-MINIEK. I am wanting to install on a Linux platform, so you only using the driver, and no extra hardware

  4. I've noticed through experimenting that AGC does NOT need to be off in some instances, especially for FT8. Strong signals will overload the front end; this is where AGC set to about .8 secs helps tremendously in decoding strong signals. Try it.

    For meteor scatter I usually have AGC off

  9. Just received my IC-7300 and setting this up. Question for you – you mention adjusting the slider so the receive is at 50db as it decodes best there. Trouble is I don't even have that slider on my installation. Is there something I need to change to get that slider to show up? (just seeing 89db all the time). Thanks!
