  5. ok, i have a situation, i have a laptop with windows 8.1 on it. Im selling it and i dont want to spend money on a windows disk. The case doesnt even have an optical drive slot (nzxt h440) so should i get the computer put together than do this with my friends windows 8.1 because the laptop didnt come with a product key of course. please help only have about a week or so before i sell it.

    But I have a question; do you recommend I use a USB and only have the windows 8 file on it or does it matter If i have other files on it for when I am going to install the windows 8 on my new pc?
    My USB has 8GB and I have other important files on that I would like to keep in it if it does not get in the way of the installation on my new pc.

    its giving error that "The Selected File is not Valid ISO file, please select Valid iso file try again"

    So far, I have tried this process with 2 USB drives, both developed by the PNY company. However, after 2 attempts, I get the same error: " Files copied successfully. However, we were unable to run bootsect to make the USB device bootable". Furthermore, I have tried turning both devices into bootable USB drives manually, but the computer refuses to recognize them in the BIOS as bootable devices. Please help, I just got a new mSATA SSD and I am eager to get this thing to work!

  28. I have to format my SSD because Windows 8 required 20 gb free space.
