  12. I've done this many times, and it still says I have a different version of Chrome on my computer. I wanted to uninstall it to go to a different version, then when I did, I kept getting a pop up. It said I had a newer version of Chrome installed and that I had to change the file location, something like that.
I'm totally baffled at this point. I want to totally remove it, so I can install a clean version, but just not sure what to do. I even tried renaming the File to Default Old. That didn't work.
I am curious to know, when you uninstall and reinstall Chrome. all your bookmarks come right back. Which leads me to believe, I have files somewhere on my computer I don't know about.
