  5. I can't edit the menu its not an option

  6. You deserve a medal. Thanks a million

  7. thx . also I find some of my files requires conversion first to work. Google for ZillaTube, it helps

  8. I found a fix to many peoples problem. There is no tones section in the drop down menu. What you have to do is follow the video as usual but make the length of your ringtones 35 seconds or less. Then follow the video as usual. When you have renamed the file plug in your iPhone and open the tone section within the drop down for the iPhone options. You can then just drag in the ringtone and press the sync button at the bottom of iTunes.
Please like this comment so it can be seen by other people and hopefully fix the problem.

  19. For those of you still having trouble here's what worked for me:

    1. After you convert the file to the AAC version you need to physically change the file extension not rename the file. Most people have the file extension hidden so if you open your start menu and search for 'File Explorer Options' -> 'View' -> Uncheck 'Hide Extensions for Known File Types'.
    2. Go back to your AAC version you created and rename the extension so it's .m4r
    3. Go back into iTunes and under your phone that's connected there will be a 'Tones' menu. Click on that menu and you should be able to drag & drop your new ringtone in.

  20. thanks so much, I was able to install the ringtone
