  15. hi when i try using the foot strike technique, i still feel like a shock at the bottom of my feet, is it because i overstride my steps?

  16. I added most of the key points discussed, and they made a big difference to my times. Cadence advice, stride length and training drills were very useful.

    My problem is that , there is continuously crackling sound produce when i bent knees ,everytime. I feel pain also sometime in my knees.
    It happened due to bad running posture.

  28. Thanks so much. Now I am clear why my heart rate is so high ( average 184) and my stride is long (1.41 cm). When I want to speed up my brain thinks is I increase the length of stride I move faster, but I lose more energy on this.

    I'm just getting into running and two days ago I ran 2 miles in 19:26.

    I then watched this video and incorporated what techniques I could (posture, arm swing) into my run today.

    I shaved TWO MINUTES off my time! I can't wait to see what happens when I learn proper foot strike!

  34. Thank you for this great video. I tried this running technique at 6:307:00 min/km pace and it doesn't seem to work. I will tend to glide. Is there a minimum pace that one must run in order to enjoy this running technique?

  38. Only run on your toes for short distance under a mile or so? Run with a heel strike for distance running that way you avoid shin splints, as the Tib anterior is a smaller muscle than gastrocnemius Soleus. The bigger calf muscle can take the force of your foot striking the floor which is 3 x your own body weight.
