  4. EXACTLY! been doing the same thing for years, buy it buy the gallon, always have a gallon around, would be without it, spray it in the fuse box under the hood it keeps the moisture out

  9. Scotty ………….. I never use WD-40 since it attacks electrical insulation and Bakelite and since I'm an electrician (foreman) it matters. I use CRC-2-26 which improves electrical properties and is a great penetrating fluid and will not harm electrical equipment. I won't allow WD-40 on any of my electricians trucks – I have had too many ruined breakers and wire insulation.

  13. Hey scotty! I have a question regarding a 2015 mazda 3. The horn has stopped working, I investigated it and it turns out the wire that goes to the horn has rotted and broken. I have a replacement, but I worry the harness is rotted because the entire harness seems to be very poorly protected. It also seems to be a common problem. should I just splice in the new wire? or should I replace the entire harness?

  14. As an HVAC owner and technician I've tried a few "better than WD 40" spray lubricants and always went back to the WD 40 brand. It seems to be the best in my opinion.
