  4. Its actually quite easy to boot in safe mode… Hit "R" while holding the windows button, type in "Msconfig", a window will pop up, Go into the "Boot" tab, you'll see it. Then you'll see a bunch of start up options, check off the "boot in safe mode" option. DONE.

  7. I tried to download Star Wars The Old Republic and my screen went black and the monitor came up with the message ''out of range'', hard to hard shut it down and re-boot it up, gets the the windows icon when re-booting and the screen goes black with the message again, any help would be great!

  9. Do you have to hold in the (Fn) key? Because I can't access the menu. And, the (Fn) key actually allows me to use the F1-F12 function keys.

  11. Also f8 works on boot as well you literally have to be quick AF and hit shift+F8, if done right your boot logo should look bigger like how safe mode appears

  12. If you need to boot windows 8 safe mode its very tricky, but it can be done through f11! Sometimes when hitting f11 and being sent to recovery you will be asked to select your user and type password, this is when safe mode is available in advanced options, but its tricky to get the login option on f11 so time when you hit f11 on boot and you will know when you done it right cause you will be prompted to select your user and type password after f11 goes to the options

  17. 1- Make the PC boots from DVD/USB FLASH.
    2- After the Win8 logo goes, chose the language.
    3- Repair your computer.
    4- Troubleshoot.
    5- Advanced options.
    6- Command Prompt.
    7- Now U have to do what in this video says

    8- If success, close the CMD and restart the PC
    9- Now your PC will run the SAVEMODE
    10- Press (Win+R)
    11- Type (RegEdit)

  26. Avoid using it. It can really mess up your system. If you choose it and bad luck happens (Automatic Repair could not repair your computer) it will reboot your system and attempt the Automatic Repair again and again, restricting you from reaching the desktop.

    If you're lucky, selecting "safe mode" or "disable automatic repair" from the advanced startup will help, but for me it didn't. I couldn't get back to the desktop and had to reinstall.
